Botulinum Toksini (Botox)
Yüzün 1/3 lük üst bölümü başta olmak üzere yüzün tamamında ve boyunda yer alan hiperdinamik kırışıklıkların (kasların hareketiyle meydana gelen kırışıklıklar) tedavisinde başarıyla kullanılır. Bir bakteri olan Clostridium botilinum’ un tarafından üretilen bu ilaç; kasları bloke ederek kasılmasını engeller. İlacın hedef kaslardaki etkisi 24-48 saat içerisinde başlar. İlacın etkisi ortalama 6 ay sürer.
Botox kimlere uygulanmaz?
Herhangi bir nöromuskuler hastalığı olanlar ( myastenia gravis, amyotrofik lateral skleroz vb.), aminoglikozid veya nöromusküler iletiyi bozan ilaç kullananlar ( penisilin, kinin, kalsiyum kanal blokerleri ), kanama bozukluğu olan veya antikoagülan ilaç kullananlar ve ilacın herhangi bir bileşenine karşı aşırı duyarlılığı olanlarda bu ilacın kullanılmaması gerekir. Hamilelikle ilgili herhangi bir olumsuz durum bildirilmemişse de hamile ve emziren bayanlarda uygulamadan kaçınılmalıdır. Uygulama alanında aktif enfeksiyon bulunması durumunda da bu ilaç uygulanmaz.
Uygulama sonrası nelere dikkat edilmesi gerekir?
İlaç uygulanmasından sonra dağılımı engellemek için 2-4 saat dik pozisyonda durmak gerekir. Kısaca yatmamak gerekir. işlem sonrası 24 saat boyunca injeksiyon bölgelerine sürtünme ovalama gibi travmalardan sakınmak gerekir.
Botox yan etkileri nelerdir?
Botox uygulaması sonrası nadiren yan etki gelişir. eğitimsiz ve uzman olmayan hekim tarafından yapıldığında istenmeyen bir takım durumlar oluşabilir. Bunlar arasında en sık pitozis (göz kapağı düşmesi), alt göz kapağında gevşeklik, göz kuruluğu, baş ağrısı, konuşma güçlüğü ve ıslık çalmada yetersizliktir. Bu istenmeyen etkilerden sakınmak için hedef kas kitlesine konsantre solüsyonlarda düşük dozlarda uygulama yapılması gerekir.
Botulinum Toxin (Botox)

Who does not apply Botox?
Those who have any neuromuscular disease (myasthenia gravis, amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, etc.),
aminoglycoside or neuromuscular conduction disturbing drug users (penicillin, quinine, calcium
channel blockers), hemorrhagic or anticoagulant drug users and those who are hypersensitive to any
component of the drug the drug should not be used. Although no negative pregnancy outcome has
been reported, pregnant and lactating women should be avoided in practice. In the case of active
infection in the application area, this drug is not applied.
What should be considered after application?
After application of the drug, it is necessary to stop at the upright position for 2-4 hours to prevent
the distribution. Briefly, you should not sleep. it is necessary to avoid trauma such as rubbing rubbing
to the injection sites for 24 hours after the procedure.
What are the side effects of Botox?
Slight side effects develop after Botox administration. untrained and non-specialist doctors may
cause some unwanted situations. Among them, pitosis (eyelid drop) is the most common, laxity in
the lower eyelid, eyelid, headache, speech difficulty and lack of whistling. In order to avoid these
undesirable effects, the target muscle mass must be administered at low doses in concentrated
solutions.
